Performing a fecal egg count test is a cheap and easy test to see if your horse actually NEEDS to be dewormed.
Our dewormer drugs are become less effective against parasites because of overuse. Administering dewormers without testing if your horse actually needs it is contributing to anthelmintic resistance and soon our dewormers will be entirely ineffective.
